Aurem Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities that enhance residents' wellbeing. You will tailor experiences to individual preferences, from arts and crafts to live events, fostering meaningful connections and enjoyment.

Role requires creativity, care experience, and strong communication. You will work in a supportive team, with opportunities for professional development and growth within our community.

Qualifications

• Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a difference.
• Experienced in organising activities, ideally within a care/health/community setting.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful of individual needs.
• Confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people.
• Organised and able to prioritise tasks; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and individual activities.
• Create and maintain weekly activity schedules.
• Support residents to participate in activities reflecting interests and personal choices.
• Assess residents' social and recreational needs, considering abilities and wellbeing goals.
• Ensure residents' social care plans are completed and reviewed regularly.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Assist with other duties to support smooth delivery of care services.
