Job summary

Akari Care Limited is seeking an Activities Coordinator who is passionate about enriching the lives of older people in one of our award-winning homes. You will design and run a variety of activities, encouraging social interaction and personal growth for residents with diverse needs and backgrounds.

Working with the Home Manager and care teams, you will lead engaging programmes, support relatives, and help the home maintain a warm, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere where residents retain

• Experience of working within similar environment.
• Previous experience within similar type of role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities that cater for all tastes and abilities.
• Plan rolling and individual activity programmes for residents.
• Encourage participation and socialising among residents and families.
• Accompany residents to offsite activities when possible.
• Assist with fundraising and budgeting for entertainment and outings.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and respect within the home.
