Job summary

Referment is seeking a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join its Platform Engineering team. This hands-on role covers Linux, networks, security controls, and core services across data centres, cloud, and international offices.

You will design, integrate, and maintain OS and infrastructure services, contribute to global networks, improve security on a large-scale production platform, and diagnose complex host and network issues while collaborating with a worldwide team.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of infrastructure engineering experience with development work in Python.
• Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems and configuration-management tooling.
• Strong host- and network-level troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with automated builds, software deployment and CI/CD systems.
• Clear communication and collaboration across disciplines and locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and maintain Linux-based OS and infrastructure services.
• Contribute to global networks, core services, and security across on-premises and cloud.
• Improve the security framework of a large-scale production platform.
• Diagnose complex host and network issues using tracing and diagnostics.
