Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking two Senior Licensing Enforcement Officers on 12-month fixed-term contracts to cover maternity leave. The roles focus on licensing regimes across taxis, Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, animal licensing and street trading.

You will engage in horizon scanning, support digital transformation, and work with partners to deliver high-quality licensing services for residents and businesses.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant licensing or regulatory qualification or significant experience in enforcement.

• Horizon scan and prepare for emerging legislation and new processes.
• Contribute to ICT system implementation and digital transformation.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Council and with external partners.
• Provide advice and guidance on regulatory/enforcement matters.
• Gather evidence and apply legal processes as needed.
• Balance competing demands and prioritise tasks to deadlines.
