Qualifications

• Experience handling insurance claims or a legal background is required.
• Solid knowledge of liability and professional indemnity policy wordings.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills to prioritise a varied workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proactive ownership of claims and progression to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of claims across multiple classes of business from notification to settlement.
• Review policy wordings and apply them to individual claims.
• Develop proactive claims strategies to achieve effective outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and meet deadlines while balancing priorities.
• Communicate clearly with brokers and collaborate with underwriting colleagues.
