Job summary

Senploy is seeking an experienced Level 6 Early Years Practitioner for a long-term nursery role in Ilford. You will plan purposeful EYFS learning, observe development and maintain safeguarding standards while taking greater responsibility in the nursery team.

You will work with children aged 0-5, building strong relationships with families and contributing to individual learning plans. Immediate start and permanent progression potential are available.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have strong knowledge and practical understanding of the EYFS.
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years environment is preferred.
• Ability to plan learning experiences for young children with confidence.
• Demonstrated ability to observe and assess children's development.
• Solid understanding of safeguarding in Early Years.
• Will take on greater responsibility within a nursery team.

Responsibilities

• Plan engaging, age-appropriate learning through the EYFS.
• Create learning opportunities through play and routines.
• Observe, assess and record children's development.
• Manage key children and contribute to learning plans.
• Support communication and early literacy development.
• Foster social, emotional and physical development.
• Encourage confidence, curiosity and independence.
• Identify needs and work with SENCO as required.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Guide less experienced colleagues and maintain safeguarding.
