Job summary

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking a Level 6 Early Years Practitioner to join a nursery in Ilford on an immediate, long-term temp-to-perm basis. The role requires a higher-level Early Years qualification and extensive EYFS knowledge, with EYTS/EYPS/QTS encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant higher-level Early Years qualification.
• Qualification must be appropriate/relevant for working within an EYFS setting.
• Candidates with EYTS, EYPS, QTS or another higher-level EY qualification are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality learning and development through the EYFS.
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities for children aged 0-5.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress and development.
• Take responsibility for key children and contribute to individual learning plans.
• Support children's communication, social, emotional and physical development.
• Identify additional needs and work alongside the SENCO where required.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Support and guide less experienced Early Years staff where appropriate.
• Maintain safeguarding, welfare and health and safety standards.
