Job summary

Marex Group plc is seeking a senior member for the Legal Entity Control (LEC) team to ensure the integrity of financial information across entities and support FP&A, Regulatory, Product Control, Treasury and tax.

You will lead month-end processes, prepare statutory notes, manage intercompany reconciliations, and assist with new acquisitions and SOX controls. The role includes line management and ensuring FCA/ AMF/ MAS and other regulators' requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience with IFRS 3 and IFRS 9 and group accounting processes.
• Qualified Accountant with familiarity in transfer pricing and intercompany reconciliations.
• Background in large Group/public company environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements for multiple entities under IFRS/US GAAP/FRS102.
• Support Financial Reporting Team with key notes to Group Annual and Quarterly Reports (Workiva).
• Prepare monthly income statement and balance sheet analyses.
• Manage month‑end process to meet group reporting deadlines.
• Prepare monthly management reports and balance sheet substantiation; oversee intercompany reconciliations.
• Lead audit process and respond to external inquiries.
• Support new acquisitions and SOX control implementation.
• Provide guidance to LEC team and head of LEC.
