Job summary

Marex Group plc is seeking a senior member of the Legal Entity Control (LEC) team to ensure the integrity of the group’s financial information. You will lead month-end close, manage intercompany reconciliations, and review balance sheet substantiation in a regulated environment.

You will work with FP&A, Regulatory, and Tax teams, support audits, and help design a world-class control framework including SOX compliance. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Big 4 audit background preferred but not essential.
• Experience in a large Group/Public company environment.
• Group accounting and intercompany reconciliation experience.
• Track record of improving processes and adding value.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements for entities under IFRS/US GAAP/FRS102.
• Support notes to Group Annual and Quarterly Reports (Workiva).
• Prepare monthly income statement and balance sheet analytical reviews.
• Manage month-end process to meet group reporting deadlines.
• Prepare monthly management reports and balance sheet substantiation.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and reconciliations.
• Manage audit process and respond to external inquiries.
• Contribute to process improvements and acquisitions integration.
• Support SOX compliance and control environment.
• Provide guidance to LEC team and head of LEC.
