Job summary
Primark, a global retail business, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal advice and lead commercial contract negotiations across retail, digital, technology, and operational initiatives.
You will work with business leaders to assess legal risk, support transformation projects, and coordinate with external partners; international exposure is a plus.

Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with 7–10+ years’ post-qualification experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal environment.
- Strong commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
- Experience advising business leaders on legal risk and supporting complex operational change/transformation projects.
- International experience and/or exposure to retail or fashion sectors is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Deliver timely, commercially focused legal advice across retail, digital, technology, and operational initiatives.
- Draft, negotiate, and conclude a broad range of commercial agreements.
- Build strong relationships with teams across Retail, Technology, Digital, Marketing, Finance, People & Culture, and Supply Chain.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and manage external legal partners.
- Contribute to the development of a high-performing legal function by embedding efficiencies and improving processes.
