Job summary

Experian, a global data and technology company, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to guide strategic commercial negotiations and contract delivery. You will act as a trusted adviser to the business, shaping how legal services are delivered and supporting growth initiatives.

You will lead complex agreements, oversee lifecycle management, and drive improvements in contracting processes, governance, and playbooks to scale operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with solid post-qualification experience in commercial contract law.
• Experience independently managing complex commercial contracting programmes and negotiations.
• Experience leading large-scale contracts and supporting important clients and commercial relationships.
• Experience designing and implementing process improvements, governance frameworks and contracting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex, high-value commercial agreements for important clients and business opportunities.
• Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, driving transactions through to successful execution while balancing legal and commercial risk.
• Draft, review and negotiate technology, data, software licensing, services and framework agreements.
• Optimise contracting processes, templates and playbooks to improve efficiency and scalability.
