Euromonitor International is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our collaborative Legal team in a broad, hands-on role with emphasis on commercial contracting and negotiation.

You’ll work with UK and global Sales teams, Product, Technology and Procurement, providing practical legal support that moves the business forward while managing risk. The role also covers IP, data protection and regulatory compliance as the role develops.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in the UK with 3–5+ years PQE in complex commercial transactions.
• Strong drafting and negotiation experience across customer and supplier contracts.
• Experience gained in-house, private practice, or a mix of both.
• Ability to provide clear, actionable legal advice and practical risk guidance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review and negotiate customer and commercial contracts end-to-end.
• Partner with Sales and commercial teams to assess contractual risk and negotiate positions.
• Develop practical legal positions and guidance translating risk appetite into consistent approaches.
• Support Procurement with supplier agreements and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Product and commercial teams on new services, go-to-market strategies and revenue opportunities.
• Lead on AI-related terms, IP considerations and regulatory developments.
• Develop and improve global contract templates, playbooks, governance and risk frameworks.
• Deliver training and guidance to global Sales teams on common contractual issues.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and enable greater self‑service across the business.
• Broaden involvement to IP, data protection, regulatory compliance and general legal advisory work.
