Job summary

Experian seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to partner with senior leaders in shaping legal services delivery and commercial strategy. You will lead negotiations on high-value client contracts and help implement a Legal-as-a-Product approach across the organisation.

You will draft, review and negotiate technology, data, and licensing agreements, while driving governance, templates and playbooks to scale operations and support strategic growth, transformation programs and risk management.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with post-qualification experience in commercial contract law.
• Experience independently managing complex commercial contracting programmes and negotiations.
• Experience leading large-scale contracts and supporting important clients and commercial relationships.
• Ability to design and implement governance frameworks and contracting systems for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex, high-value commercial agreements for important clients and opportunities.
• Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, driving transactions to execution while balancing risk.
• Draft, review and negotiate technology, data, software licensing, services and framework agreements.
• Optimize contracting processes, templates and playbooks to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Support transformation programs including M&A integration activities and legal service development.
