Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd in Leeds is hiring a Property Development Manager to lead development projects from feasibility through to completion. You will manage programme, budget and risk across large-scale schemes in the region.

Leeds is a thriving development market; the role offers hybrid working with site visits and Leeds office time. A relevant degree and strong commercial acumen are essential, with progression opportunities to director-level roles.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering development projects at senior level.
• Solid grasp of planning policy, land appraisal and development finance.
• Strong commercial judgement; ability to read a deal and flag when numbers don’t add up.
• Confident stakeholder management from site contractors to board-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects from feasibility through to completion, managing programme, budget and risk at every stage.
• Appraise potential sites across Leeds and the wider region, assessing viability and return against company targets.
• Coordinate architects, contractors, planning consultants and internal teams to keep schemes on track.
• Manage planning applications and liaise directly with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Report progress, forecasts and risks to senior leadership on a regular cycle.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to protect project margins.
