Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Leeds is seeking an Associate Director for Transport Planning to lead a diverse portfolio of development planning projects across residential, commercial, logistics and mixed-use sectors. You will mentor junior staff, manage client relationships and contribute to business development while guiding the Leeds office.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in transport planning consultancy.
• Strong development planning experience across sectors.
• Excellent technical report writing and project management skills.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver commercial outcomes.
• Experience leading teams and developing junior professionals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Chartered status (CIHT, TPS, ICE or equivalent) desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee transport planning projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare and review Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Provide strategic transport advice to private and public sector clients.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Manage project budgets, resources and programme delivery.
• Mentor junior and intermediate team members.
• Attend client meetings, public consultations and stakeholder engagements.
• Contribute to business development, networking and winning new work.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and regional offices.
