Job summary

University of Southampton invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in Interprofessional Education to lead the development of a school-wide IPE strategy across all subjects. The post is fixed-term for 12 months and carries a Band 7 salary (£50,253–£58,226, FTE).

The postholder will review current provision, gather stakeholder input, and drive integration of IPE within existing modules. The role requires strategic HE leadership, ongoing innovation in education, and collaboration across health

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent significant professional experience.
• Current registration with a relevant regulatory/professional body (e.g. NMC, HCPC, SWE, GPhC or equivalent).
• A recognised HE teaching qualification.
• Contemporary knowledge and understanding of working across professional boundaries in health and/or social care.
• A track record of educational innovation and/or professional developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of school-wide IPE strategy across all subject areas.
• Undertake a structured review of current provision and gather stakeholder input.
• Identify opportunities to integrate IPE within existing modules and pilot activities.
• Support programme teams to embed IPE principles within the curriculum.
