Job summary

Esher Church of England High School is seeking a Senior Learning Support Assistant to join a busy team that supports students with special educational needs. The role focuses on SEMH, delivering ELSA interventions, and coordinating LSAs to ensure consistent inclusion in class activities.

You will help students access the curriculum, promote wellbeing, and work with the Assistant SENCo to maintain high standards of support.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting students with SEMH needs in a school setting.
• Experience in leading, coordinating or line-managing LSAs or other support staff.
• Confident in modelling effective support practice and working with SENCo to ensure provision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Social, Emotional and Mental Health strand.
• Deliver ELSA interventions to EHCP students.
• Support and oversee key working and wider LSA duties in lessons.
• Help students access the curriculum and promote wellbeing and personal development.
