Orbis Education & Care Limited is seeking a Senior Learning Support Assistant at Summergil School, Presteigne. You will support pupils with learning activities and work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to help pupils overcome challenges and build confidence.

We value a caring, patient approach and strong communication. The role is 37.5 hours per week during term time, with salary from £22,990.50 to £23,858.38 (full year equivalent £30,654 to £31,804.50).

Qualificações

• GCSEs in English and Maths required.
• A recognised qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role desirable but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils in the classroom with learning activities and individual plans.
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Support behaviour management and encourage positive interactions.
• Work with teaching staff to adapt lessons to individual needs.
• Help implement therapy plans and monitor pupil progress.

About The Role

Senior Learning Support Assistant

Location: Summergil School, Presteigne

Salary: £22,990.50 to £23,858.38 (£30,654 to £31,804.50 full year equivalent)

Hours: 37.5 per week, Term time only (41 weeks)

As a Senior Learning Support Assistant at Summergil School, you'll play a key role in both the educational and personal development of our pupils. Working closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals, you'll help pupils overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their goals.

What you'll do:

• Support pupils in the classroom with learning activities and individual plans.
