Job summary

Charles Darwin School is seeking a Senior Learning Support Assistant to lead and supervise the team of Learning Support Assistants, ensuring students with Special Educational Needs receive high standards of care, are safe, secure and successful.

The successful candidate will bring experience from a similar role; the position is NJC Scale 3, 36 hours a week, 40 weeks a year, and contributes to a good school ethos within the Lumero Educational Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience of a similar role in another school would be advantageous.

We wish to appoint a Senior Learning Support Assistant to lead and supervise the work of our team of Learning Support Assistants. The successful candidate will ensure that students with Special Educational Needs and groups of students who require additional support receive the highest possible standards of care and education, ensuring that they are safe, secure and successful. Experience of a similar role in another school would be advantageous.
