The Job

The success of our guest experience depends on our people: their knowledge, understanding of our products, and dedication to personal growth. The People function develops and coordinates training and development programs and leads our development academy.

The Senior Learning and Development Manager (12-month maternity cover) will plan, develop, and implement engaging training programs aligned with business strategies. You will manage a team and collaborate with senior leaders to enhance hospitality service, leadership, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
People Development
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the L&D team
  • Drive learning programs and define capability strategies
  • Manage L&D strategies across venues
  • Translate business objectives into training initiatives
  • Develop specialist training programs
  • Manage relationships with external L&D providers
  • Oversee LMS utilization
  • Coordinate learning across international venues
  • Create innovative training tools
  • Manage existing academies and develop new programs
  • Create adaptable development frameworks
  • Develop and approve training content
  • Evaluate capability gaps and recommend improvements
Product Training
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent product training
  • Implement evaluation and reporting of training effectiveness
  • Lead training for new venue openings
Learning & Development Frameworks & Systems
  • Ensure roles have clear development pathways
  • Manage frameworks and systems to ensure consistency and effectiveness
  • Support and manage product learning systems
  • Oversee online training supporting venue trainers
Success Criteria

Experience in hospitality L&D management, team leadership, operational senior roles, FOH & BOH operations, LMS experience, project management, and innovative training delivery.
