Job summary

Education Training Foundation is seeking a Learning Design Officer to design and deliver high-quality online and blended learning experiences. You will help create engaging, learner-centred content aligned with professional standards and CPD principles, and maintain courses in the LMS.

You will work with SMEs and internal teams to continuously improve digital delivery, focusing on accessibility, usability and evidence-informed practice within ETF’s learning portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience designing online learning and digital content in multiple formats.
• Understanding of instructional design, digital pedagogy and user experience.
• Ability to translate complex subject matter into engaging, accessible learning materials.
• Understanding of how AI can support innovative learning design.
• Experience working with digital learning platforms (e.g. LMS) or content authoring tools.
• Significant experience with LMS platforms and e-learning authoring tools.
• Strong organisation and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Experience managing work of SMEs and associates to deliver outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design online, blended and asynchronous learning programmes and resources.
• Apply instructional design principles to create accessible learning content.
• Develop digital learning materials including scripts, storyboards and assessments.
• Build, upload and maintain courses within the LMS; ensure accuracy and usability.
• Test and quality assure learning materials for accessibility and learner journey.
• Collaborate with SMEs, associates and external partners to co-design content.
