Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a Senior Leakage Inspector to provide advanced leakage support, mentor colleagues, and lead key leakage activities in the region. You will work with the Area Leakage Team to resolve complex issues and drive reductions in leaks while ensuring safety and compliance across sites.

The role requires deep leakage knowledge, NRASWA/WAND experience, a full driving licence, and flexibility for nights and unsociable hours to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Advanced knowledge of the water network and leakage techniques.
• Ability to use initiative and engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to work unsocial hours.
• NRASWA and WAND risk assessments experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced leakage investigation support to the Area Leakage Team.
• Specialise in complex leakage activities and DMA optimisation.
• Lead meter exchange and maintenance across DMAs and meters.
• Develop strong relationships with service partners and stakeholders.
• Support the Area Team Leader and deputise when required.
