Job summary

Uisce Éireann is seeking a Leakage Detection Senior Operative to monitor and protect Ireland's water network. You will use specialised equipment to detect leaks, isolate sections for repairs, and support data-driven leakage management across DMAs and related infrastructure.

The role involves night work as required and collaboration with Water Network Operations. You will contribute to KPI reporting and ensure safe, secure water delivery for communities.

Qualifications

• Experience with leak detection in water networks is desirable.
• Ability to read water network data and perform basic data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water network using specialised equipment to detect leaks.
• Isolate and re-commission network sections with ops teams.
• Repair coordination including DMA and PRV/PSV components where needed.
• Operate and maintain leakage detection equipment and data-logging devices.
• Support data collection for KPI reporting and leakage management.
