Job summary

Buckinghamshire Council is seeking an experienced Community Safety Operations Manager to lead the delivery of anti-social behaviour, crime reduction and CCTV services across Buckinghamshire. You will chair partnership meetings, develop action plans and drive multi-agency initiatives with Thames Valley Police and health partners.

This senior role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to manage budgets, contracts and complex stakeholder relationships while delivering

Qualifications

• Experience leading community safety, partnership or customer-focused services in a large organisation.
• Strong understanding of community safety legislation and safeguarding principles.
• Proven experience in service planning, programme delivery and organisational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of community safety, anti-social behaviour, crime reduction and CCTV services.
• Manage and develop high-performing teams and service leaders.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver Safer Buckinghamshire Operational Delivery Plan.
• Lead multi-agency initiatives addressing crime, tensions and risks.
• Develop policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and external funding opportunities.
• Use data to inform decision-making and service improvements.
• Build relationships with stakeholders including police, health partners and elected members.
• Represent the service at partnership boards and high-profile forums.
