Job summary

You will lead end-to-end delivery across ingestion, transformation, storage and consumption, building robust batch and streaming pipelines on a cloud-native AWS stack. You will mentor engineers, establish engineering best practices, and collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Product Control and Finance to ensure reliable, high-quality analytics and governance across

Qualifications

• Production software systems at scale.
• Strong Python/Java/Scala and CS fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with distributed data processing and Spark.
• Experience with Databricks and Redshift in data platforms.
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling patterns.
• Cloud engineering concepts including security, IAM, observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data and analytics initiatives across ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.
• Set design reviews, code reviews, testing standards, CI/CD and documentation.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical quality and operational excellence.
• Build robust batch and streaming pipelines for high-volume workloads.
• Optimize data models, partitioning and performance for large datasets.
• Create reusable data product frameworks across Databricks and Redshift.
• Define reconciliation, lineage and controls across data warehouses.
• Improve query performance, cost, and workload placement across platforms.
• Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS (S3, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, Glue, Redshift, EKS).
• Own production stability with monitoring, incident response and SLAs/SLOs.
