The role - Science Technician
As a Lead Science Technician, you will be assisting teaching staff in the delivery of science lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5. You will be involved in setting up practical lessons, including equipment preparation, as well as overseeing and giving direction to your team of Science Technicians. You should have excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of health and safety practices when working within a science lab. You will manage the technical team on a daily basis, coordinating the workload of the team so that it is fair and equitable. You will also lead and advise on the assessment, monitoring, and review of both health and safety procedures.
The successful candidate will be a hardworking, passionate individual with a science background and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
