JPMorgan Chase & Co. within our Market Data Services team seeks a Lead Engineer to design, deliver, and maintain critical data distribution systems across on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

You will work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions for multiple lines of business. The role emphasizes AI-assisted practices, data security, resiliency, and collaboration with stakeholders while maintaining strong governance and monitoring of data

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and advanced applied cloud technologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS.
• Data Lake technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Glue/Athena, Lake Formation.
• Experience using enterprise-approved AI capabilities to support infrastructure engineering workflows with validation.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations for resiliency and security.
• Knowledge of network architecture and protocols.
• Programming languages (Java, Python, C++).
• Market Data / messaging products (TREP, Vela, Bloomberg BPIPE, etc.).
• Database technologies and SQL scripting.
• Monitoring tools (ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Datadog).

Responsabilités

• Applies deep technical expertise to analyze complex data and systems, anticipates issues and advises on mitigation actions.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate analysis of infrastructure signals and document mitigation options.
• Designing and maintaining data delivery systems for real-time and historical data and AI/ML use-cases.
• Collaborates with product owners and stakeholders to align data solutions with requirements.
• Balances best-of-breed vs. cost-effective solutions.
• Acts as a positive team player, accepting diverse viewpoints.
• Clearly communicates findings to senior management.
• Analyzes problems and provides input into solutions.
• Provides 3rd level support to operational roles.
• Adheres to strong process and control management disciplines.
• Leads reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices to reduce recurring issues and ensure traceability and security.
