Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Data Analytics team within the Commercial & Investment Bank. You will architect and deliver secure, scalable KDB-based platforms, migrate to AWS, and lead a team to build real-time and historical market data solutions.

You will mentor engineers, drive SDLC improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver robust, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of KDB and Q language with 7+ years’ experience including 2+ years in a lead role.
• Experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability in a large-scale environment.
• Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery, and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot secure high-quality production code.
• Lead communities of practice to drive adoption of new technologies.
