Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for a Children’s Residential unit in Holbeach. You will lead a caring team and deliver therapeutic, quality care for children with complex needs. A structured induction and ongoing professional development are provided, with enhanced pay and benefits for qualified staff.

You will manage shifts, including sleep-ins, and play a pivotal role in safeguarding and regulatory compliance while supporting positive outcomes for each child.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Residential Children's home.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
• Knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Able to work flexible shifts including sleep-ins.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care services and contribute to strategic home developments.
• Lead and mentor the care team to deliver therapeutic support for each child.
• Act as a positive role model and build trusting relationships with children and staff.
• Coordinate with professionals to access services that support childcare practices.
