Job summary

Keys Group is opening a specialist children’s home and seeks experienced Senior Therapeutic Support Workers for a new venture. You will be part of a team delivering high-quality therapeutic care in a nurturing environment.

You will work full-time long day shifts plus sleep-ins, hold a full UK driving licence, and pursue Level 3 residential childcare qualifications. An enhanced pay scale and training support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.
• Great communication skills, naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
• Minimum of 12 months children’s home experience with Level 3 residential childcare.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the young people in our care to lead a life of positive development.
• Ensure day-to-day management is facilitated professionally and support the Service Manager.
• Lead a team alongside other professionals to provide therapeutic care.
• Record events, observations and progress, and prepare care plans and records.
• Act as a positive role model to meet daily living needs and build trusting relationships.
