Job summary

Qualifications

• State registered with HCPC with a Master's degree or equivalent.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.
• Experience leading Haematology/Blood Transfusion teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the transfusion laboratory service and lead a team of Biomedical Scientists and support staff.
• Ensure local and national policies are implemented for blood transfusion practice.
• Coordinate, develop and transform efficiency and quality, in line with MHRA/ISO15189/SHOT requirements.
