Swanton, Kent-based Light Commercial Vehicle Technician position offering a strong basic salary and stable daytime hours. The role sits within a long-standing commercial vehicle business with a fleet of around 600 vehicles, primarily 3.5-tonne panel vans, on long-term contracts in the utility sector.

The successful candidate will service, maintain and repair LCVs, with focus on Ford Transit experience being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of approximately five years' experience working on commercial vehicles.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on LCVs and commercial vehicles.
• Working predominantly on 3.5-tonne panel vans.
• Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Identifying and replacing worn or defective components.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT and statutory inspections.
• Completing workshop documentation accurately.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and Health & Safety.
• Supporting the wider workshop team where required.
