Lead Careers Ltd. is seeking an Associate Landscape Architect in West Yorkshire to lead and mentor the Landscape and Urban Design team on major infrastructure and regeneration projects.

You will drive design excellence across highways, rail, town centres and renewable energy schemes, combining technical delivery with client relationship management, bid leadership and team development. The role offers a generous salary and a flexible hybrid working pattern, with private healthcare and ongoing

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture.
• Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
• Experience in landscape design including public realm and masterplanning across multiple project types and scales.
• Knowledge of landscape planning, including landscape/townscape and visual impact assessments.
• Desirable experience with linear infrastructure projects (highways, rail, energy).
• Project management/leadership including bids, budgeting and client relationships.
• Experience in line management or mentoring to support colleague development.
• Fluent English with strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK and hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the regional lead in managing, developing and growing the team.
• Deliver on large infrastructure schemes (highways/rail) and masterplanning projects.
• Contribute to public realm design and landscape/townscape assessments for energy or flood alleviation schemes.
