Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor to join our established Surveying team in the UK. You will deliver land, topographical and measured surveys, manage survey data, and provide technical oversight to ensure adherence to client and industry standards.

You’ll mentor junior surveyors, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and explore innovative surveying technologies to continuously improve service delivery on a long-term programme of work.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering topographical and measured surveys in a professional environment.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and N4CE.
• Experience processing and managing survey data and deliverables.
• Understanding of QA processes and survey standards.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver land, topographical and measured surveys to support various projects.
• Process, review and validate survey data and deliverables.
• Provide technical oversight and QA of survey outputs to ensure standards compliance.
• Support development of survey specifications, standards and best practices.
• Work with project teams, clients and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Mentor and support junior surveyors and apprentices.
• Explore and implement innovative surveying technologies and ways of working.
