BakerHicks is looking for an Associate Ground Engineer to lead a new team in our London office and expand our southern region presence. You will oversee ground engineering across sectors such as rail, power, defense, and life sciences, while driving client relationships and project delivery.

You will bring proven geotechnical expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering complex projects with an integrated design team. Travel within the UK is expected.

Formación

• Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or Environmental Science.
• Chartered membership of GeolSoc, ICE, IMMM or CIWEM is required.
• RoGEP preferred at Specialist or Adviser grade or SilC.
• Technically competent in all aspects of ground engineering.
• Experience checking and reviewing: desk studies, ground investigations, ground modelling, Geotechnical Reports.

Responsabilidades

• Lead in the London office to grow a new southern region team.
• Win work and develop clients in the southern region.
• Act as technical lead/reviewer for ground engineering packages across multiple sectors.
• Deliver ground engineering projects from concept to completion as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Mentor and develop junior staff within the team.
