Job summary

Cobalt is recruiting for a Senior Land Manager to lead the full land acquisition lifecycle in the North West. You’ll identify opportunities, conduct appraisals and progress transactions through to exchange with support from an in-house team.

As a senior, you’ll mentor junior colleagues and travel regularly to prospective sites, working closely with the Land Director on regional strategy and targets.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the land acquisition process from identification to exchange.
• Ability to identify opportunities through research and professional networks.
• Confidence in negotiating acquisitions and guiding junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Identify land opportunities through networks, approaches and market research.
• Undertake desktop research, data analysis and site identification.
• Complete site appraisals and prepare acquisition proposals.
• Manage offers and negotiations through to exchange.
• Work with the Land Director to support the regional strategy.
• Guide and support junior land team members.
