Job summary

Cobalt Consulting (UK) Ltd is seeking a Land Manager / Senior Land Manager to own acquisitions from initial identification through to negotiation and exchange. The role covers identifying land opportunities, conducting research, and preparing acquisition proposals, with a focus on managing offers through to exchange.

You will work with the Land Director to support the regional acquisition strategy, mentor junior colleagues, and travel regularly to prospective sites with a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in land acquisition from site identification through to negotiation and exchange.
• Ability to identify opportunities via research and professional networks.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK with a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify land opportunities through networks, targeted approaches and market research.
• Undertake desktop research, data analysis and site identification.
• Complete site appraisals and prepare acquisition proposals.
• Manage offers and negotiations through to exchange.
• Work with the Land Director to support regional acquisition strategy.
• As a senior, guide and support junior members of the land team.
