Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a Senior Land Manager to join its land team in the North West. You will own acquisitions from identification through to negotiation and exchange, working with in-house planning, architectural, legal and commercial teams.

You will identify opportunities, conduct site appraisals, and guide negotiations, while sharing knowledge with junior team members and supporting the regional strategy under the Land Director.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of the land acquisition process from identification to exchange.
• Ability to identify opportunities through research and networks.
• Experience with site appraisals and commercial considerations in land deals.
• Ability to develop relationships with agents, landowners and internal stakeholders.
• Confident in managing negotiations and progressing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Identify land opportunities through networks, approaches and market research.
• Undertake desktop research, data analysis and site identification.
• Complete site appraisals and prepare acquisition proposals.
• Manage offers and negotiations through to exchange.
• Support regional acquisition strategy with Land Director.
• Mentor junior colleagues in the land team.
