Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of one of the industry’s largest Kubernetes environments. You will drive operational excellence, implement robust automation, and shape the systems keeping CoreWeave’s cloud running smoothly.

You will build, operate, and scale Kubernetes-based production infrastructure, develop automation and IaC, and implement monitoring with Grafana-based tools to proactively resolve issues at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in infrastructure-focused programming (Go & Bash).
• Deep understanding of Linux systems.
• Proven experience with high-uptime, customer-facing systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of large Kubernetes environments.
• Drive operational excellence, automation, and robust tooling.
• Build, operate, and scale Kubernetes-based production infrastructure with reliability and performance.
• Develop automation, tooling, and IaC to enable zero-touch operations and rapid recovery.
• Design and maintain monitoring/observability using Grafana ecosystem.
• Lead incident response, on-call rotations, and postmortems to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with teams to meet SLAs and operational requirements.
• Engineer for resiliency and disaster recovery across distributed systems.
• Advocate for security, reliability, and performance improvements.
• Develop custom Kubernetes operators and orchestration frameworks for AI workloads at scale.
• Mentor engineers in production best practices and operational standards.
