Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a software engineer to develop applications using Kotlin and Java on the AWS Cloud. The role involves working within a Scrum team, embracing modern architectural patterns, and contributing to maintainable, scalable services.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and explore emerging AI technologies while adhering to best practices and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns, including microservices and message-driven architectures
• Experience with non-functional requirements in design and delivery
• Experience with Design for Digital Services and APIs in government context
• Code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and SOLID/DRY principles
• Hands-on development using TypeScript, Node.js, Kotlin, SpringBoot, Hibernate
• Experience in estimation and sizing
• Integration and API design experience
• Cloud experience
• Interest in emerging AI technologies
• Security clearance eligibility (SC)
