Job summary

Simon Acres Group in London seeks an experienced designer who can blend creativity with strong relationship skills to guide clients from the first conversation through design and commercial stages. You will develop concepts for kitchens, bathrooms and interiors, present ideas clearly, and manage multiple live opportunities while collaborating with colleagues to maintain high service standards.

The role offers a basic salary of £30,000–£38,000 plus uncapped commission, excellent earning

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a design-led customer environment.
• Experience within kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, interiors or another related sector would be particularly relevant.
• Good spatial awareness and a strong eye for design.
• Comfortable working within a commercially focused environment.
• Confident presenting ideas and discussing significant purchases with customers.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced designer who can combine creativity with a natural ability to build relationships and generate sales.

The position offers considerably more variety than a traditional single-product design role. You will work with customers to develop ideas across a range of interior spaces, helping them make decisions around layout, functionality, products, finishes and overall appearance.

You will take ownership of your customers from their first conversation through the design and commercial stages, creating solutions that are both attractive and practical.
