Job summary

Simon Acres Group in London seeks an experienced designer who can blend creativity with strong relationship skills to guide clients from the first conversation through design and commercial stages. You will develop concepts for kitchens, bathrooms and interiors, present ideas clearly, and manage multiple live opportunities while collaborating with colleagues to maintain high service standards.

The role offers a basic salary of £30,000–£38,000 plus uncapped commission, excellent earning

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a design-led customer environment.
• Experience within kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, interiors or another related sector would be particularly relevant.
• Good spatial awareness and a strong eye for design.
• Comfortable working within a commercially focused environment.
• Confident presenting ideas and discussing significant purchases with customers.

Responsibilities

• Developing design concepts around individual customer requirements.
• Understanding a client's practical needs, personal taste and available budget.
• Producing accurate layouts and visual design proposals.
• Helping customers select suitable products, materials and finishes.
• Preparing proposals and associated project information.
• Presenting ideas clearly and adapting designs following customer feedback.
• Developing enquiries into confirmed business.
• Maintaining regular communication with customers throughout the process.
• Managing multiple live opportunities and prioritising workload effectively.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide a consistently high standard of service.
• Maintaining accuracy across design, pricing and customer information.
• Contributing towards individual and wider team sales performance.
