Version 1 is seeking a Test Engineer with strong Java automation skills to design and implement automation frameworks within an agile delivery team. You will own test automation, contribute to API and UI testing, and help drive quality across releases.

The role emphasizes building robust automation from scratch, aligning with CI/CD, and participating in cross-browser testing and exploratory testing as needed. Flexible/remote working is supported in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong Java test automation skills with hands-on framework design.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Karate.
• Proven API testing and contract testing capabilities in Java.
• CI/CD integration and maintaining quality gates in agile environments.

Responsibilities
