Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Senior Java Technical Lead to design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot in a City of London-based team. You will build reactive systems with Spring WebFlux, implement robust RESTful APIs, and drive event-driven integration with IBM MQ and Apache Kafka.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, well-documented code and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficient in design and development of Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building high-performance microservices with Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Developing reactive, non-blocking apps with Spring WebFlux.
• Designing, developing, and securing RESTful APIs with proper versioning and error handling.
• Implementing event-driven architecture using IBM MQ and Apache Kafka.
• Collaborating with frontend, architecture, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis.
