Job summary

Searchability is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our global streaming technology teams in London. You will design, develop and deploy scalable backend services and APIs using Java/Spring, AWS and modern cloud patterns.

You’ll work across agile squads, collaborating with cross-functional teams in London, Lisbon and Prague to deliver reliable, high-performing digital experiences on various platforms. 2 days per week on-site in Osterley, West London.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and/or event-driven systems.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised apps.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana).
• Experience in Agile delivery environments and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy high-quality software solutions for identity and commerce platforms.
• Work on backend services, APIs and event-driven systems for scalable apps.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment across London, Lisbon and Prague.
• Contribute to automated testing, deployment and continuous improvement.
