Job summary

TPXimpact is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the United Kingdom to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions. You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and drive best practices across cross-functional teams including product management, UX/UI, DevOps, and QA.

You will implement robust pipelines, contribute to testing strategies, and stay ahead of industry trends while delivering secure, scalable systems that meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven full-stack software development experience
• Strong Java, Spring Boot and microservices background
• Solid knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC
• Familiar with CI/CD and automated testing
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or serverless architectures
• Leadership or mentoring experience in engineering teams
• Experience in consulting or central government is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, secure, scalable software solutions
• Contribute to architecture decisions aligned with business goals
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, DevOps and QA to meet requirements
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines for efficiency
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality
• Troubleshoot issues and keep services reliable
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
