Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Java/Full Stack Engineer to help deliver cutting-edge digital transformations across client engagements.

You'll work in multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to architecture decisions, and gain exposure to technologies such as NodeJS, Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and cloud platforms. Hybrid working and ongoing professional development are core to the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience building microservices with Java (Spring Boot)
• Experience using JavaScript/Typescript to build fronted web applications using React, HTML and CSS
• Experience with version control software – Git
• Experience using online version control tools – GitHub, GitLab etc
• Experience using Docker, Docker Compose
• Experience with CI/CD (Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins)
• Experience with cloud technologies such AWS or Azure
• Experience working in an agile team environment
• Strong soft skills including time and risk management, problem solving, and leading with empathy

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams delivering digital transformation for clients.
• Build cutting-edge digital solutions with Java, NodeJS, React and related technologies.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers.
• Lead engineering initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to recruit and grow the team.
