Job summary

Capgemini in London is seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Developer to drive the development of scalable enterprise applications across frontend and backend layers. You will design, develop, test and deploy high-quality solutions within an Agile framework.

You will lead frontend work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Redux, Node.js and Jest, and backend with Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs and microservices, complemented by TDD, SQL Server, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Lead development of scalable enterprise web applications using frontend and backend tech.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, REST APIs and microservices.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber and Selenium.
• Work with MS SQL Server and optimize database queries.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Redux, Node.js and Jest.
• Design and develop backend microservices with Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Ensure code quality with TDD and automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber and Selenium.
• Work with SQL databases (MS SQL Server) to optimize performance and queries.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployments.
