Capgemini Invent in the UK is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer to join our Digital Excellence team. You will work on cutting-edge digital transformation projects, building microservices with Java/Spring Boot and frontend apps with React in collaborative, agile squads.

London, Glasgow or Manchester base with flexible, hybrid assignments. The role offers exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and modern development practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building microservices with Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience building front-end apps with JavaScript/Typescript (React).
• Proficient with Git and online version control tools (GitHub, GitLab).
• Hands-on with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins).
• Cloud experience (AWS or Azure).
• Able to work in an agile team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices in Java (Spring Boot) for digital solutions.
• Build front-end interfaces using React, HTML and CSS.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver value.
• Contribute to cloud deployments and CI/CD automation.
