Job summary

Mindera is seeking experienced Java developers to join our team in London. You will mentor the development crew, shape technical direction and deliver robust, scalable solutions on the online platform.

This 12-month contract sits outside IR35 and requires on-site work in Paddington three days per week. Strong Java experience, Spring, Gradle/Maven and cloud familiarity (Azure) are essential.

Qualifications

• Expert Java developer with Kotlin knowledge a plus.
• Experience with Gradle and Maven for builds.
• Design and implement event-driven/async systems with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Proficient in Spring or Java EE and modern web frameworks.
• Strong Git and version control skills.
• Mastery of testing with TDD/BDD; Mockito, JUnit, Gatling, Cucumber.
• Experience deploying cloud-based tech on AWS/Azure/GCP using IaC (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation); Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of agile practices including Scrum and Kanban.
• DevOps mindset with CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and tracing.
• Familiar with relational Postgres and non-relational DynamoDB, MongoDB; JSON/XML data formats.
